In order to provide an accurate quote, the following are some general questions regarding the project’s requirements:
What style is the project (sit-down interviews, scripted in a studio, vérité documentary, man-on-the-street, etc.)?
How many wireless microphones will be needed?
How many personal monitoring devices are needed (known as IFB, or comteks)?
What form of sync is needed (sync box, and/or camera hops, and/or slate)? If you are unsure, then feel free to send me the contact information of the editor or post-production supervisor.
How many cameras and what are their make/model? If you are unsure, then feel free to send me the contact information of the Director of Photography.
